Detroit celebrations

I got to spend Saturday walking around downtown Detroit shooting fans who didn't go to the game and hanging out at an NCAA viewing party, Detroit was full of Spartan fans and everyone was extremely excited when we won. The streets were packed but there was nothing even resembling a riot, people were just too happy to be violent.

Final Four

The men's basketball team is going to the Final Four. I'm headed to Detroit Saturday to cover the fans' reactions there, and I'm pretty excited. Here's a frame from the welcome back celebration at Breslin when the team won and one from right after the game when people ran outside in the rain to yell "Go Green, Go White."
